Sioux Falls engagement photos
Your engagement session is part celebration, part warm-up for the big day.
We’ll find a spot that feels like you, whether that’s the Mary Jo Wegner Arboretum, the bluffs at Good Earth State Park, wide-open prairie at golden hour, the glowing State Theatre marquee downtown, or your favorite dive bar on a rainy night, and I’ll guide you the whole way. By the wedding, being in front of my camera will feel like second nature.
Engagement sessions are $425, and when you book me for your wedding, that $425 comes off your wedding package. Planning to pop the question? I love capturing surprise proposals, too. Let’s plan it together (secretly, of course).
Wedding FAQ
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! I’m based in Sioux Falls and photograph weddings all over the surrounding area, at Okoboji and the Iowa Great Lakes, and at destinations farther away (I’ve even shot a wedding week in Cabo). Travel within 30 miles of Sioux Falls is free; beyond that there’s a flat travel fee, like $350 for Okoboji. Each year I also take one far-away destination wedding with the Deluxe package.
Do you photograph elopements and small weddings?
Absolutely. Whether it’s 200 guests in a barn or just the two of you on a mountain overlook, your story deserves to be told well.
Are engagement sessions available?
Yes, and I highly recommend one. It’s the best way to get comfortable in front of the camera before the big day, and you’ll get gorgeous photos for save-the-dates.
How far in advance should we book?
As soon as you have a date and venue. Peak-season Saturdays in Sioux Falls book up early, so reach out to check availability.
How much does wedding photography cost?
Wedding packages are $2,900 (Simple, 6 hours), $3,640 (Premium, 8 hours) and $4,300 (Deluxe, all day with a second photographer and behind-the-scenes videos). Every package includes a complimentary engagement or bridal session. Prices are plus sales tax and may vary depending on location, details and travel. See all packages.
